You probably remember Omarion from his Bump, Bump, Bump days with B2k or when he went solo and had an icebox where his heart used to be. Now hes cut his hair and is on his way to steal yo girl.

This song is the definition of a banger. The beat is fire, and each artists lyrics have memorable lines that you’ll find yourself mumbling throughout the day. The song came out a few months ago but has recently picked up traction on music blogs and the radio, most notably in the land of memes and Twitter where Jhene’s “gotta eat the booty like groceries” reigns supreme.

I’m excited to hear what Omarion has coming up next, but for now will continue to wear this out on my morning playlist.

Happy Birthday Chance the Rapper!

I think it’s safe to say the term “making it big” in the music industry will never mean the same thing thanks to Chance the Rapper. Three years after emerging on the scene, Chance has shown that all it takes is talent and determination and you can be successful making the music you love. Chance chose the path of moving to LA with his friends and making music over a few mil and a fat signing bonus with a major record company, and I’m here for that.

Drake dropped a new mix-tape and that’s all you need to know

Yes, Drake pulled a Beyonce and dropped his new project “If you’re reading this it’s too late” at midnight last night and subsequently broke the internet. Not really but everyone freaked out and there were a lot of feelings being expressed on Twitter.

I’ve already listened to it 5 times all the way through; 2 last night, 3 since I woke up at 9am, and I still can’t get enough.

This is the mix-tape everyone was expecting to be dropped in January, and also the project everyone was speculating about ever since he dropped his short movie “Jungle”.

5 reasons you shouldn’t be ashamed of being single on Valentine’s day

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can confidently say that I’m not jealous of anyone in a relationship right now.No this is not a ploy or reverse psychology to make people think I’m not jealous when really I am. I just have no desire to be in a relationship. Whether or not you’re like me or you’re a bit bummed that you don’t have a s/o to buy you chocolate and take you to go see 50 Shades of Grey, these are my top 5 reasons why you really shouldn’t feel bad about being single this V-day.

1. Galentine’s Day. Yes, this is a real thing and if you’re a woman and haven’t celebrated this yet you are forgiven. It can also be celebrated in the form of drunk brunch this coming Sunday, you’re welcome.

The first “Game of Thrones” Season 5 Trailer Was Leaked and My Nerd is Showing

The first look at the new season looks INTENSE and filled with all of our favorite things, fighting, nudity, and obscure statements that only people who’ve read the book understand.

From the trailer it looks like our girl Danny is looking to raise hell and Little Foot is plotting and scheming as per usual. I for one am looking forward to more of a story line for Danny who was short-chained last season with about an 1/8th of a story line every episode. Here’s to hoping we get to see her and the dothraki’s cross the sea.

Getting my blog back up and running before awards season was the best decision I ever made. Amal Clooney in Dior. 10/10. She killed it with all of the beauty and grace to match. Plus, she brought back white satin gloves and I’m totally okay with it.

The Coachella 2015 Lineup is Here and Everyone is Freaking Out About It

Festival season has come upon us at full force

Drake is headlining day 3 of Coachella and I could end this post right there

This is the actual text i got from my friend after the lineup announcement

” My life is over. Drake and Jack White are headlining Coachella.”

It’s safe to say she is not handling the fact that our dream is coming true whilst she’s be in Africa during her Peace Corps assignment.

The whole weekend looks great with AC/DC kicking the weekend off headlining Monday with Jack White on the main stage Saturday.

Other artists that’ll be performing during the 3 day weekend include The Weekend, FKA Twigs, Lil B, Floostradamus, and alt-J.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow so if you need me I’ll be trying to sell various internal organs on the black market to afford a round-trip ticket to Cali and  a all weekend pass

I decided to start these posts up again because I love exploring new music as well as sharing it with others.

Right now I’m completely submerging myself into J. Cole’s newest album 2014 Forest Hills Drive and it’s amazing. This is my favorite track on the album thus far. This may change tomorrow or a month from now because with me, I find new things to love about different songs every time I hear them.
